"The room had a school vibe with modern amenities. It was clean. I loved that it was center to everything we wanted to do. The Charleston Market is literally across the street and the French Quarter is within minutes of walking. The breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese, and cookies at night was a special touch. "The place was beautiful from being newly renovated. The only thing I would say is that I had dust bunnies under the little ottoman in when room when I moved it. Also the roof top taproom was under renovations so it was as enjoyable as they showed pictured. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would go back again. I do also love that they provide you with a black make up towel instead of white like most hotels. I appreciate that so much. It is right at the end of king street and is in walking distance from a lot of places."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Ryder Hotel! The location is fantastic and perfect for exploring Charleston, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The amenities were also great and the overall atmosphere was fun and welcoming. That said, our room was very small, and being located directly next to the elevator made it a bit less comfortable than we would have liked. Overall, though, the great location, friendly service, and amenities made for a nice stay."

"Our first visit to Charleston was made even more special by our stay at The Restoration. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s genuine hospitality made all the difference. A special thank you to LaSharra at the front desk and Matt, the guest curator. They were welcoming and inviting, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Traveling with our baby daughter, we especially appreciated having a crib ready for her in our room and all the thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable and easy like the breakfast basket each morning. We even had an issue with our rental car and they handled that so professionally. The accommodations were clean, spacious, beautiful, and felt like the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. And the location couldn’t be better! Being right in the heart of Charleston made it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, the water, and so many of the city’s activities. The Restoration was the perfect introduction to Charleston, and we will definitely be back!"
