Great location, they remodeled hotel room and its really cute, only problem was air-condition sounds was prettty loud, but other that that we had great stay
This has become one of my favorite places to stay while traveling for work in Charleston. The rooms are gorgeous but the staff is what gives 5 stars. Huge shoutout to Khadijah, Mitchell, and Jordan. They’re the real hospitality winners.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, extremely accommodating and helped us feel welcome. Will definitely rebook here again. Beautiful hotel and above and beyond friendly staff. Restaurant and parking expensive but convenient.
What a pleasure to stay in this sparkling new hotel in Charleston. A respite from the city. Super comfy new beds and everything in the room was well appointed with special details. We were just passing thru so only stayed for 1 night but will definitely return to check out pool! Highly recommend!
The place was beautiful from being newly renovated. The only thing I would say is that I had dust bunnies under the little ottoman in when room when I moved it. Also the roof top taproom was under renovations so it was as enjoyable as they showed pictured. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would go back again. I do also love that they provide you with a black make up towel instead of white like most hotels. I appreciate that so much. It is right at the end of king street and is in walking distance from a lot of places.
PROS: nice room except as listed under Cons, appreciated the unexpected daily room refresh, food was good, valets were awesome and one was even quite comical, great lobby and bar areas.
CONS: Lots of dirt and dust balls under the night stands, we booked a breakfast included hotel but we were told it was not complimentary, $300.00 later an agent from the Hyatt House we visited with informed us to use their facility for a complimentary breakfast, Hyatt Lowline could at the least have free coffee available
Our room was very clean. The shower was great, as were the fresh towels every day. The bed and pillows were super comfy too.
We really missed not being able to make a cup of coffee in our room when we wake up, and there wasn’t a free cup of coffee to be had downstairs either (we like our coffee!). When I reserved our room (via Expedia) it was listed that breakfast was included, but when checking in we were told that no, it wasn’t included. There was confusion with the staff as to us even being able to eat breakfast in the dining area, so we ate off site the first 3 days, which added $30-40/day to our daily expenses. We then found out on day 4 that we could eat breakfast at the adjoining Hyatt, so our last 2 breakfasts were there, and they were excellent, as was their staff. The valet service gentlemen were wonderful and always went above and beyond for us.
This hotel was recently remodeled and rebranded. It is in a perfect location and there is option for self parking in the garage ($26/day or valet $55/day). We opted for valet and were very pleased with the ease of that process. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nicely decorated and well stocked! There was a fridge in the room but no microwave. The only negative is the bathroom door was a shaded glass. So when you turn the light on, it lit up the entire room. I would definitely stay here again. There were so many shops, food, and bars within walking distance. We didn’t try the bar/restaurant in the hotel but it looked very nice and the prices were reasonable.
Brand new spot didn't have anything to complain about other than the parking. Valet was 55 i was told that was the way to go because the actual parking garage was owned by the city. But I opted to just pay the city and it turned out to be cheaper
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Stay at The Lowline Hotel, Charleston
From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. We were welcomed with warm smiles by a friendly, professional staff who made us feel at home immediately. The valet team was equally impressive—attentive, courteous, and always ready to help.
Perfectly located on King Street, The Lowline Hotel is in the heart of Charleston’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district, yet tucked behind a beautiful courtyard that provides a peaceful retreat from the city’s energy.
Our room was exquisite—luxurious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, the barista was accommodating, and the restaurant staff delivered outstanding service throughout.
The hotel’s eclectic interior design is stunning, especially the restaurant, blending sophistication with warmth and creating an inviting atmosphere. We also loved the TrackMan golf simulator, which was a fun and unique amenity.
If you’re looking for luxury with character, The Lowline Hotel delivers. Between the impeccable service, exceptional dining, beautiful design, prime location, and thoughtful amenities, every detail exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return!
Unfortunately, our stay was less than par. Our room wasn’t ready at arrival, even though I called and requested an early check in and they confirmed as we had an event we had to change for. When we got to the room, the bathroom bulbs were out. We requested they fix when left for the event. Came back and nothing. The bathtub wasn’t draining at all. The next morning I asked the bulb be changed again and the tub be fixed. Again nothing. We spent $1200 on our stay and it was never fixed for the entire week. Multiple requests and nothing. The front desk people just seems confused unfortunately and said nothing when we departed today due to the fact that things in our room weren’t working. I would have expected they make it up with at least free parking or a free night. Nothing. Cris just stared at me lost and confused when we departed.
