"Good place to stay since Bern station is just 10 mins away and the bus stop is across the road. Room cleaning was not up to standard. Bed was made up and trash was cleaned. That's about it. Vaccuming or swiping the tables once in three night would have been nice. Pillows were not comfortable. Bed was good. AC didn't work. If it did, it never brought the temp below 27 degrees when people were inside. I kept windows open at night. Friendly and responsive staff"

"Our room was very spacious. Everything you need is close by. Unfortunately the A/C is not strong enough to cool the room. We had electric fans. There’s no fridge and microwave. The water temperature in the shower is strange. It gets hot so quick with changing it."

"This is a beautiful old hotel located a short distance from the Interlaken Ost station. It suffers from its age, however, Small elevators. No apparent air conditioning and spotty wifi in the rooms. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is popular with international guests. It's a good jumping off point for visits to nearby hamlets in the region."

"This is just an amazing hotel in the perfect location--right at the entrance to the old city and directly adjacent to the train station. Our room was clean and well appointed, and I can't say enough about the staff, especially the desk clerk who helped us figure out the Aare swimming logistics, She even provided us with a hotel branded dry bag for floating down the river. My only comment is that the AC was not that strong, but the staff did provide us with a supplemental AC unit which cooled the room down considerably. HIGHLY recommend !"
