Great views, fresh hotel and nice staff.

Fresh and clean hotel, right on the harbor with nice views from the lobby and the room, staff was friendly and they offer a free ramen bowl in the evenings.

Very good ryokan in toba

The whole building was recently renovated so it was very comfortable new and clean The food was generous and very yummy. The service staff from the front desk to the restaurant was very good The view from the room is very nice too Really enjoyed our 3 night stay

Nice stop in toba with a nice view of the water. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Drink bar and “soba hour” at 9pm was a nice touch. Seems like they recently had some renovations, so it’s nice and updated.

Stayed for one night while going to Toba aquarium. Room was amazing very large and with a beautiful view of the sea. Staff were great very helpful the entire time. Hot drinks were free from a relaxing bar on the 1st floor. Breakfast was a Japanese style. Various different. Vegetables, fish and some fruit with rice, udeon and miso soup. We were even provided a meal voucher for the night when we arrived. Can't speak for the baths as we didn't use them for the night but I'm sure they are lovely as well. If your reading reviews to pick what place to book. Id say go with this one.

It seemed like it had recently been renovated, so it was very clean and although it was originally a Japanese-style room, the room was reasonably laid out and comfortable.

The wonderful service of the staff of front desk

Unfortunetly, we found that my wife passport was lost at the check in. The saff who was fluent in English tried to contact JR lost center at two days, and finally confirmed JR to collect the passport. Without her endeavour, we should suffer from extreme hardship. I really apprecitae her service and extend my thankfulness for this hotel. Wish for good luck of the people of the hotel.

This was not a traditional-style onsen and not what I was expecting. (No yukata, no welcome treats.) It has been recently renovated, and the rooms are clean, modern (meaning we had enough outlets for all our electronics), nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Staff spoke English so communication was simple. Lounge had 24-hr water and coffee machine. Didn’t have dinner there, but did have breakfast and it was delicious! Served kaiseki style, attentive and polite wait staff. Thankfully hotel was super responsive and quick communicating thru the Expedia app, which made using the shuttle van very easy. (Would be a challenging walk to/fm train station.) Lovely place and would stay again if we ever return to Toba.

I had a really nice stay here. The front desk staffs are able to handle requests and inquiries in both Taiwanese and English, and they also provide train station pick-up and drop-off for free. The island and ocean view from the window is stunning. The place is so close to nature, though, that the birds will have you up by around 4:30 a.m. lol

食事が美味しくなかった。 ハモにはたくさんの骨があり、説明によると部位が良くなかったとのこと。子供が同じメニューを食べていたら、喉に骨が引っかって大変だったと思います。部位が良くないとわかっていたら、最初から出すべきではないと思います。ウェイターの方に水をお願いしても10分もかかり、しゃぶしゃぶの火をつけてもらえるのにこちらから声をかけないと気づかない… 食事代を返して欲しいです。
