Everything works at this place. We stayed two nights and loved it. Lobby bar and restaurant are great. Enjoyed the Sunday Prime Rib and salmon. Do not pass this up.

They A/C worked very well and it was a clean and nice smelling even as a historic hotel. Would recommend it to others but did not like dogs in the Jack Dempsey Room as we were trying to relax and enjoy our dinner and drinks.

Beautiful old hotel with a romantic vibe. Interesting history and photo, a “museum room” and authentic furnishings. Our room on the second floor was very quiet. We did not eat at either restaurant but heard that the Dempsey dining room was very good. We will definitely stay again.

The hotel is a very quaint and interesting place being very well done as a character hotel. The rooms are small, but serviceable. The atmosphere is nice. The restaurant for dinner is very good but a little on the pricey side. The breakfast restaurant I would skip. The options available are limited and the food was very basic. Not worth the price.

The room was nice, clean it is an older hotel so smaller in some ways. The hotel itself is great to walk around. The staff is helpful, both desk and maintenance. The sink only had one working faucet and you had to work on it to get it to work. Maintenance stopped by but could not fix it.

This is an historic hotel. The owners have done a great job restoring it and keeping the theme. The antique parlor furnishings are wonderful. I’d definitely stay here again. The server at the bar seemed overworked and tired, very slow service. My room was nice, clean, comfortable, small, charming. The tap in the bathroom dripped. A number of things seem a little worn and a bit under maintained but all in all, a unique remarkable place in the high Nevada desert old mining town, well worth the stop and stay.
