“A very comfortable, clean, well appointed chalet/cabin. The beds were comfortable. Excellent shower and bathroom with very good linen and towels. Good kitchen with plenty of teabags thank you, and milk. Easy parking. Great recommendation for dinner. Friendly helpful host and staff.”
“Unique it certainly was ! Booked primarily for the Butterflies & meals only to discover 24 hrs before there are no buttetflies and was informed of reduced food availability when we arrived. Room was spacious and mostly clean- plates were 'joined' underneath by left over butter ! Milk etc in the fridge was welcome (although a tad out of date!) Sleep -well that would have been nice - early internal partying was ok but music played ALL night and the last conversation ended around 4a.m.After a bit...
“The room was quite large and aircon worked well. It also had ceiling fans which I prefer when sleeping. Security gates in carpark and accommodation entrance got a bit annoying when coming and going, but nice to know the car was safe and property was secure at night. Still waiting for my deposit back a week later (in “pending” on credit card), this could be processed much faster, considering most places I stay don’t even require deposits. I wouldn’t mind so much if it was returned more promptly....
“Bluestone Motel was well positioned. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and tidy, and spacious. Modest bathrooms but functional.
The restaurant however was very very expensive. The food was tasty but ordinary, sadly it was definitely not worth the money.”
