“We didn’t stay long. We had a reservation for two nights, but decided to move on after the first. We had booked a tour and left early in the morning, but decided not to come back and to move on to our next destination instead. “The casitas are nestled right in the rainforest, completely immersing you in the sights and sounds of nature. Within minutes of arriving, Jeff pointed out a sloth in a nearby tree and howler monkeys overhead—such an unforgettable introduction to the area. The sounds of the forest are incredibly peaceful (though the howler monkeys do provide a memorable early morning wake-up call!).
