โWe had a wonderful stay. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The decor is spare, in a good way. Clean and minimal. The food was delicious, and they happily accommodated our request for vegetarian meals. They offered good recommendations for hiking areas. The property caters to cyclists, which we did not realize and have nothing to do with, but it was perfect for us on a couples sightseeing vacation as well. โ
โWe stayed in the presidential suite and it was massive and beautiful! It even had a balcony. The bed was super comfortable too. The hotel itself was so unique and I loved having the view of the cathedral right next door. The breakfast that was included was delicious. So was the room service. The only โnegativesโ was that room service stopped at 9:00 pm, the menu was sort of small, and the hotel concierge left at 9:00 pm. โHotel Restaurant Sausa provides excellent value for money spent. The room was very clean with a refrigerator and a large bathroom with wall-in shower. It is not fancy, but it met our needs. There is a nice big pool and an on site restaurant, but we did not utilize either. This is a convenient base for day trips to Girona, Figueres, Besalu, and the Mediterranean coastal towns.โ

Our little dog was made very welcome by hosts and their dogs .
Excellent facilities ,clean, very confortable bed .
