“Toppen boende bra frukost”

“It’s a beautiful spot but extremely small bathroom with limited/bare necessities. The breakfast buffet was extremely limited and mostly prepackaged items. No variety, every morning same items. Too bad cause it’s a beautiful location”

“If you are looking for beautiful scenery, helpful and attentive staff, great food and drinks , look no further!”

“Bra boende med hjälpsam personal. Extra plus för vinprovingen tillsammams med middagen”

“This place is STUNNING! It is a 1600's monastery that was converted by a husband and wife team to into a bed and breakfast. They are the ones that run it and truly take of their guests out of personal pride for what they have created. It is located on quiet hillside surrounded by vineyards and farm land. A magnificent setting to get away from daily stresses and enjoy the beautiful wine country of Piedmont. Having a car is helpful since it is a bit of a walk to the nearest town, but they can...

“A very special, evocative and peaceful place!”

“Très bel accueil. Petit déjeuner parfait et superbe spot piscine. Spa au top également . Je reviendrais avec grand plaisir.”

“Hotel Villa San Carlo was a disappointment. The hosts are exceedingly nice, but the hotel itself is in dire need of an update. Nothing has been done in 20 years. The beds are wildly uncomfortable, the bathrooms less functional from the shower cabins to the 20 year old hair dryers. Air conditioning works sometimes, WiFi is sketchy and the breakfast is severely lacking. Even for Italian standards. The same sad hard boiled eggs came from the fridge 3 days in a row.”

“I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to visit Mondovi . Barbara, the hotel owner , will tell you the story of this historic building and their restoration efforts. Since Barbara and her husband are in book publishing business too, each room has its own theme from a book. The theme of my room is little prince. I was so impressed how the room was decorated . The breakfast was very delicious and fresh . Staff are extremely helpful and kind. I will definitely come back to this hotel...

“Very nice place!! Excelent!!”

“The hotel is lovely and centrally located, which made it convenient to walk up into and around town. The pool was cold, the view stunning. I was going to stay two nights but changed my mind by the time evening arrived. After getting out of the shower (in my room), I realized the drain was not working and my room had flooded! The shower did not have a lip, it was level with the floor of the building. I called reception. They sent someone to clean up. When the custodial staff arrived, she asked...
