“Always very friendly and the rooms are always clean”

“Excellent from start to finish. The room was very clean and felt comfortable, with a delightful view over the garden. We had a couple of drinks in the bar which was nice and relaxing. We later had dinner in the restaurant, with a nice selection of dishes and again a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was lovely, the wife had boiled eggs and soldiers, they were perfect with nice runny yokes. My full English breakfast was excellent with a perfectly cooked poached egg. “This property is in a quiet village and the local views are stunning. My only criticism is the lack of electronic device charging ports. Many pubs are switching at least the bedside power receptacles to the ones with built in usb ports. Other than this small inconvenience it was perfect ”
