"We were travelling from England via Vancouver. I would like to see a policy for early arrivals who have appointments near the hotel. Our room was not ready when we arrived very early at 1.00pm, We were not offered a place to store our luggage or freshen up. We returned at 3.00pm and our room was still not available. Finally we were given another room where we could quickly freshen up before leaving for our 4.00pm. meeting. Many opportunities lost...having a drink in the bar or tea in the restaurant while waiting, a room to freshen up. We felt undervalued, left and returned later. This comes down to organisational culture and providing the best service possible for the travelling public."

"The most outstanding feature of this property is their staff. They were courteous and considerate and even changed our room after we checked in because we did not like the originally assigned room mainly because of where it was situated. I think this is one of the cleanest hotel in its class that i have stayed at. The rooms are spacious clean. If i am ever back in Castlegar, i am definitely staying again."

"We stayed last wknd, the rooms have been renovated which was nice, beds and pillows were amazing. My only complaint would be the ants in our room and around the outside of the door, long black hair in the bathroom floor and bathtub. (I'm blonde, so very noticeable) I would however not classify this property as a hotel but a motel would be a more appropriate description."
