Trans Pennine Trail, England hotel rooms at the Classic British Hotels

"Very close to the terminals and excellent free transfer. Room was large and clean, but on the ground floor by the airport, inevitably had the constant rumble of planes. 10 minute walk to the airport pub for food and a pre holiday beer garden. Felt impersonal with the screen check in, as we didn't actually speak to a member of staff the whole stay, though it was only for 1 night prior to flights."

"Really good location, friendly welcome. Breakfast good and freshly cooked albeit always the same. Didn't eat evening meal there but plenty seemed to be enjoying their meals. Rooms were comfortable and spacious Spa very nice and staff were lovely "

"When we arrived the rescue potion staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn’t use many of the amenities such as breakfast, the pool etc the staff in the lounge and bar again were very friendly. The bedroom and particularly the bathroom and shower were exceptionally clean and very large for a hotel, very impressed. The hotel internally is beautiful and a pleasure to walk around, in particular the staircase and corridor leading to the bar. Would definitely stay there again when next we visit, and would recommend to anyone asking"
