Good location in Trapani

Apartment itself and location are good . There is no free parking. The host mentioned somewhere he knew and you pay but it is easier to find your own space on the nearby main road and pay the meter (free overnight).Host rang to say I had left my Kindle but we were in Palermo when I saw the message so couldn't go back. Host was not willing to wrap it and take to post office and wasn't able to say whether it could be collected as he might not be in. So basically i can't have my Kindle back.I would have paid of course. I know it's a nuisance but I've sent forgotten items to guests before.

Give this place a miss

Ground floor apartment with under tile floor drain/sewers making loud gurgling noises at random times of day and night. My stay was during 3 dry days so not caused by rain as suggested by reception. Very disappointing.

I chose this location because I had a tour departing from the port at 930A and my bus was arriving from Palermo at 845A. It was a quick 7 minute walk from the bus stop and I was able to drop my bags off and they handed me the keys. Once I came back, I was able to access my room. I was on the top floor and it was a clean room with a clean bathroom. I was able to use the washing machine as well. Doors were tricky to lock but they show you. The only thing as other reviews have said, the stairs were extremely steep to the top floor. As young as I am, my knees hurt a bit with my backpack and my luggage. Either way, beautiful location in the heart of town with lots of food options and a free shuttle to the airport which was wonderful the next day! Great deal included with the hotel stay. The ladies were kind and helped me when I had questions and I appreciate that the most! Thank you!!!

Don't expect a lot

I'm curious how this place has such great ratings. It's a very average/no frills kind of place. You do get a large bottle of water in the refrigerator but you only get one small roll of toilet paper per day so if there is more than one person in your party, be aware of this. No toiletries are provided so bring your own shower gel, etc. Also the toilet is literally in front of the sink. I've tried to include a photo but not sure if it is attached. It's really the strangest arrangement for a bathroom that I've ever seen. Finally, the manager (?) or contact person is not terribly responsive. It took until the next day to get one response to a question and, on the day of our departure she told us we could leave our bags in the lobby until the cab came for us later in the day. She assured me that I could just contact her when we returned for our bags and she would let us in. We tried to contact her for more than 20 minutes via both text messages and phone calls and she never responded. She didn't even look at the emails that I sent for a few hours. Fortunately a gentleman visiting another tenant arrived and we were able to follow him into the building to grab our bags before heading to the airport. Had he not shown up I'm not sure how we would have managed.

Not a pleasant experience

Location wise is great since is close to the ferry station and to the night life, restaurants, shops, etc. If you are traveling by car the inconvenience comes with the parking. They do not have an onsite parking, the city council offers a parking service so you park the car at Trapani outskirts. Since it is a 10 min drive, they also offer a shuttle service from/to the parking. In regards to the rooms I got, very outdated. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was working just fine. The first night I stayed on the first floor and the room was clean and comfortable. The second night I had to move to the last floor, mind the stairs! They are narrow and steep. Luckily they brought my suitcase upstairs since I had to take the ferry at 9am and the room wasn't ready yet. I arrived around 9:30pm and my bag was in the new room, smaller and less comfortable. My disappointment comes with the shower, it was not clean! I found hairs from previous tenants in there... So disgusting! I sent a picture to reception that same evening and I never got an answer nor an apology. Next day I met the cleaning lady on the stairs and she was staring at me without saying a word. She was clearly upset and she was letting me know with her body language. I saw the receptionist at the parking, when I went to pick up my car. I was surprised to see her working there too, she didn't mention anything in regards to the picture I sent her. Overall I am just very disappointed.

Nous avions reservé deux nuits, nous sommes partis dés la première. Une clim extremement bruyante, une sonnerie de dysfonctionnement toutes les 10 mn. Mi dispiace di avere personalmente prenotato da tempo una tripla e arrivare alle una di notte senza trovare il terzo letto pronto. È normale arrivare a quell'ora e fare un po' di rumore....messe subito in riga dal proprietario visibilmente scocciato. Il volo è partito da Bologna parecchio in ritardo e mi dispiace nn essere state accolte in maniera più affabile. La colazione nn era disponibile mentre invece pensavo lo fosse. Una cosa positiva è che la struttura è vicina al porto per prendere l'aliscafo.

Während unseres Aufenthalts in dieser Wohnung hatten wir eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung. Ohne Vorwarnung betraten 2 leute vom personal unser Zimmer, um angeblich die Klimaanlage zu kontrollieren. Sie öffneten ohne zu fragen unseren Safe und sagten dies müssten sie auch kontrollieren. Dieses Verhalten ist inakzeptabel und stellt eine schwere Verletzung unserer Privatsphäre dar. Wir fühlten uns extrem unsicher und in unsere Privatsphäre eingedrungen. Der Mangel an Respekt und Professionalität war wirklich enttäuschend. Darüber hinaus erhielten wir keine angemessene Erklärung oder Entschuldigung für den Vorfall. Wenn Sie Wert auf Privatsphäre und Sicherheit legen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, sich woanders umzusehen.

Attention! Immeuble ancien sans ascenseur et sans personne pour monter les bagages. Pose un problème pour les anciens et personnes a mobilité réduites (ce qui était le cas) . A savoir: les chambres se trouvent au dessus d’un restaurant.
