โI stayed at Barefoot Contessa in mid-June 2025. I was holidaying as a solo traveller which I have only done a few times before and so was very anxious leading up to the trip. I neednโt have worried as I had an amazing week. โWir waren als Familie mit Kindern im Sunrise Inn Hotel auf der wunderschรถnen Insel Kefalonia. Das Hotel hat griechischen Charme, das Frรผhstรผck war vielfรคltig und die Lage war gut um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir hatten ein eigenes kleines Hรคuschen am Pool. Unsere Jungs konnten jeden Tag kostenlos Tennis spielen inkl. Schlรคgerverleih. Wirklich toll! Der Pool war auch schรถn mit Plรคtzen zum Sitzen und Liegen im Schatten. Alle Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren immer sehr freundlich.

โLocated a few minutes drive from the airport, with impressive 180 degree views over the ocean and airport. Have an aerial view of planes landing and taking off. Due to the height of the hotel, there is no issue with noise. The pool is one of the best. A decent length and width. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and spacious, the only small negative was that they smell a little musty.โ
โA lovely little hotel in the port of Kefalonia. Comfortable room, good air con, nice breakfast. The staff were very friendly, offering tips on where to go and booking taxis. We ate at the hotel one evening and it was a nice meal, reasonably priced. โ
โThe property was fine and clean. Parking in this area this time of a year is difficult. I booked a compact room and thatโs what it was. Bedroom was fine but bathroom and shower were very small.Staff especially front desk are very polite and accommodating.Have stayed here many times and never disappointed. โLoved our stay at white rocks. We have been back multiple times and it never disappoints. The views and hotel itself are stunning and the staff are exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable. Particularly enjoyed the alfresco morning yoga classes overlooking the ocean and the jazz music night under the stars this year. We hope to return soon. โ

Rooms are basic but comfortable - which is reflected in the star rating/room rate, they are spotlessly cleaned everyday and have everything you need including air conditioning (included in the price).

โGreat experience, stayed in the Perla suite. Kind & helpful staff. Room cleaned daily-staff was willing to come back when we hadnโt left yet. Good location to explore the island. Well equipped kitchen for whatever your cooking needs sans an oven. Close to Sami for restaurants, shopping, ferry, & Antisamos. Local tavernas good with lovely staff as well. โ
