This property exceeded my expectations. The views were to die for. The restaurant is delightful. Breakfast was very good again in the restaurant with amazing views. We enjoyed everything about our stay, thank you.
I loved this hotel!
The hotel is really well maintained, very Italian style.
Nicola at the reception was amazing! Super helpful with some requests that we had and also giving us information about the area.
The restaurant is amazing! The food is great and the views are gorgeous.
I’ll definitely recommend this place!
Wonderful hotel right on the lake. Great rooms, fantastic staff, nice breakfast, and super convenient to walk to the ferry terminal to get to the other little towns across the lake.
This is a small family owned and operated boutique hotel right on the Lake Como shore, with beautiful views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke good English. The food was superb, deserves a Michelin star in my opinion. We had dinner there one of the nights , and sat outside, which was absolutely lovely, artistic and delicious. Less than 5 min walk to the ferry dock. The place was spotless. Would love to stay again!
We had a great stay ! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everyone is friendly. The breakfast is amazing . Ferry is just few steps from the hotel . The bus stop is just in front of the hotel. Our room is clean and the view of the lake is priceless .
The view of the lake is lovely. We thought it was pretty good for a 3-star hotel. The breakfast was pretty good and we liked that they offered the option to order fresh eggs.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They helped us organize a private boat tour that picked us up from their own private dock at the hotel. A bit pricey but a great tour and was well worth it for us! Would definitely recommend this extra add-on.
The air conditioning worked well in the room. The only complaint would be that we often heard other guests in the halls and rooms nearby but that is expected for an older building. The bed was on the firm side but not too firm.
Our family, including our young daughter, had a dream stay at La Darsena. We decided to venture beyond the more conventional choices of Varenna and Bellagio, and we’re so glad we did — we found an absolute gem!
Just steps from the Tremezzo pier, the hotel is perfectly located, with the added advantage of a less crowded ferry stop for exploring Lake Como. The hotel itself is historic yet exceptionally well maintained, full of charm, and clearly run with genuine care by a family from start to finish.
Breakfast was excellent, and the views from our room and the restaurant were simply to die for. Waking up to that scenery every morning felt like a privilege. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, which offered fine dining in a warm, cozy, and wonderfully romantic atmosphere.
The staff were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, as well as knowledgeable and helpful. They were also lovely with our daughter, which made our stay even more special. Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and full of character, with a lovely atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
One particularly special feature was the hotel’s private pier, where we could be picked up and dropped off directly at the hotel — such a charming and convenient touch. Tremezzo itself is a delightful little town, and staying here made exploring Lake Como all the more memorable.
We absolutely loved our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend La Darsena to anyone
Nice B&B right on the lake. Wonderful breakfast. Our room was on the top floor, large, and with a great view out the window. The room was clean, but a little dated. The watchout is the ferry service in this area is more limited with larger time gaps than the larger villages in the area.
If I could rate it more stars I would. The staff were friendly as soon as we walked in the front door. They went above and beyond to accommodate us.
We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious.
Excellent hotel on the lake with convenient access to the ferry on Menaggio.
Room is big and very comfortable, bathroom and shower is excellent.
Breakfast was excellent with a very beautiful view on the lake, we didn't try the restaurant for dinner
