A great, modern hotel with a bit of personality and some great design features. Our room was close to the bridge so busy with people walking past but if you look past that the views of the mountains were great. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge choice and a barrister making coffees. The location of the hotel is very handy, close to buses but also on the trendy side of the harbour with good restaurants nearby.

The Dock is hands down the place to stay in Tromsø—seriously, why would you choose anywhere else? The location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center, attractions, and all the tour meet-up spots, which made everything incredibly easy. The rooftop igloos are a standout feature, offering a spectacular view that really elevates the whole experience. Everything was spotless, modern, and well-kept, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful throughout our stay. If you want convenience, comfort, and a little wow factor—this is it.

The restaurant on the 10th floor is excellent (better than the other restaurants in town we visited - that were more expensive). The lobby is a good place to sit (although the chairs are a bit uncomfortable).
