Old but clean and comfortable hotel. Good breakfast and free 'make your own' waffles each evening. Very close to station and everywhere of interest for a short stay in town.

Excellent, friendly staff in a well positioned hotel for the railway station and city centre. The free afternoon coffee and waffles was a nice touch. On the downside it is an older building and needs some cosmetic work.

Check in was at 3 pm. Not a minute earlier. Greating was ordinairy and elevator was broken. We had to Côme back at the counter to change room since they gave us 4 th floor. Had to wait in Line Would not recommend.

No late night check in access.

Nobody on reception and entry door locked on late evening arrival. I had to call the telephone Nr posted on front locked door. Thereafter walk 400m to another hotel to collect my room/front dooor access card. This was a very uncomfortable, insecure & inconvenient arrangement especially in the late night darkness. Next day hotel reception guy was extremely apologetic and did all he could to make wrongs right.

Svært sentralt i nedre del av Søndre gate. 3-4 min gange til Trondheim S og 12-15 min til Nidarosdomen. En rekke gode puber, kaffebarer og restauranter rundt hotellet. Bærer sitt navn Chesterfield med rette. Resepsjon og bar har slike møbler. God frokost. Hyggelig betjening. Rent. Ryddes på rom daglig. God sovekvalitet og god fri wifi. Meget god valuta for pengene i sentrum av Trondheim. Anbefales.
