I understand why the rule was originally put in place (to keep up dress standards). If you want to relax, Barcelo' resort is the right place to do so. it's quiet, chilled, mainly for couples and families. The facilities are good and the room is very big and comfortable. However, if you want to discover Fuerteventura, Caleta de Fuste is not the most authentic place.

A very relaxing time in a beautiful location. Food was very well done and of very good quality. Great décor around the hotel generally and the pool area particularly. Fantastic beach only a short walk away and a lovely little beach front café / restaurant right overlooking the same beach ( not affiliated with the hotel) All in all an excellent choice for a great relaxing getaway away from the main 'British' resorts. Would definitely go back.

Being close to the hotel and the beach enabled us to enjoy the All Inclusive offer (cocktails, lunch, snacks). You can rent out 2 sun chairs + sunshade for 13.50€ a day or ask for discounts for more days. We paid 32€ for 3 days.
The food and drinks were really nice, international and of good quality. Each day is different and surprising – ranging from Paella, Chocolate Fondue, Sushi...
