I had a wonderful experience staying at the Taj Palace Hotel. The hospitality was exceptional from the moment I arrived, and the staff were warm, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, elegant interiors, comfortable rooms, and excellent facilities. Everything was very well maintained, and the overall level of service truly reflects the Taj standard. The food was also excellent, with a great selection and attentive service at the restaurants. What stood out most was the staff’s attention to detail and their willingness to make the stay comfortable and memorable. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend Taj Palace to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and welcoming stay. I would happily stay here again.

We loved the people. They made the stay unforgettable. The views are likely the best in Udaipur. The property is spectacular. I would only recommend having more options in the menu for North Indian non vegetarian dishes. But even then there were ample choices. Often you don't get what you pay for, but this property is worth it and more.

Incredible property, the most attentive staff and a wonderful spa. Indian restaurant is also delicious. Make sure not to miss a dinner on a royal boat and a private dinner on Mewar terrace.

We arrived by boat and were impressed by the welcome we received immediately upon arrival. The hotel’s decor and atmosphere truly reflected its long and distinguished history. It was also a treat to watch a complimentary traditional dance performance starting at 7:00 PM, and the restaurant staff treated us very kindly. However, the staff member who escorted us from the front desk to our room spoke very quickly; even though it was clear we weren't fully catching what was being said, they maintained their rapid pace throughout, forcing us to double-check several important details. I was also left dissatisfied with the facilities. Considering the price, the plumbing areas (such as the washbasin, toilet, and shower) were rather basic and underwhelming. The biggest issue was that a corporate event was scheduled for the day after our stay; workers were shouting to communicate and conducting microphone tests while setting up poolside decorations—activities that continued late into the night and started again early in the morning. While I appreciate that it was likely a hectic rush job, that is of no concern to the hotel guests. I had hoped for a much quieter and more peaceful stay.

Absolutely exceptional. Very unique experience and I had all my needs met. Kunal in particular was extremely pleasant to talk to, I cannot recommend this hotel enough! If I could have one thing fixed, I would make it easier for taxis to pick up individuals from the boats

Perfect in every way

Every minute of our stay was a treat. The service was next level and always on point. We felt pampered from the time we were welcomed with a rose petal shower on entry to our check out time. Every nook and cranny is just lovely. We dined on the roof at Bhairo and it was a sublime experience.

Imagine staying at a palace. As Americans, this is unimaginable. However, the Taj Lake gives you the full experience. The gardens, the flute, the palm reader, the dancers, the history tour, and then you have the awestruck level of food. This is the MUST STAY destination of our 20 day tour.
