“Fabulous place just watch out google maps puts it in the wrong place only a little but enough if arriving late in the dark. Service excellent have to arrange for food to be brought in for evening meal but breakfast as good as it gets”

“We loved the Papyrus Guest House. The staff was super friendly and the dinner we had was excellent. There is a nice bar area to hang out at. The rooms were clean and safe but there was no air conditioning so it got a little warm for us. We felt safe while we were at the property. We did not seek to go out off the property for anything so we can't comment on that. Great value for the money. ”

“The place felt very safe and in a nice setting with plenty of green outside space. Rooms were very clean and spacious with nice private front terraces. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the onwer, Agnes, who arranged sightseeing trips in the area, airport transfer (15 mins) and other transport for us. “The staff at Emmaus is what keeps us coming back. They are just very kind and help in any way that they can. The bed is comfortable and the room is kept very clean. The quiet was so appreciated and the location was great. We were able to walk to many of our meeting places and it was very easy to get an UBER ride to/from anywhere. Enjoyed it. ”

“they need to inform clients upfront if they can't accept credit cards. When I tried to pay with my CC for meals I was informed that they can't accept credit cards. Apparently there was an issue with the bank. it creates a predicament to clients who do not have access to cash. otherwise, the stay was excellent ”

“The Bridgeway Guesthouse was formerly my favorite place to stay in Jinja. Now, their system of reserving rooms is terrible -- I booked via this site and the Bridgeway did not recognize Orbitz and thus I had to pay again in person; I was put in a room that was not the one I booked, and a subsequent night I stayed, I was put into a different room. The next morning, I saw someone kicked out of their room so that other customers (equally dissatisfied with their original placement) could have his....

“Beautiful view from the breakfast area. My room did not have electricity all during the day. The bathroom had no door just a ripped shower curtain. The shower didn’t work. It took 4 staff members coming in every 5 minutes to figure out the shower and by the time they showed us it was time to check out.”

“I am still awaiting my refund after booking, being sent a “we can’t wait to host you” email, and arriving after a long journey and being told there were no rooms available - and was suggested another hotel 3 hours away. Terrible communication from hotel and zero viable resolution offered from staff. Very frustrating ”
