“The Flamingo Lodge was great! Just a few minutes walk to Umhlanga Rocks beach and the famous Whale Bone pier. Surprisingly, it is really close to the Umhlanga action and restaurants, but peaceful inside. The Staff was great, they were quick to do anything that needed doing and had access or instructions for the various activities in the area. They even helped out with the 2 year. I will certainly stay again!”

“Our best stay in South Africa by far. We stayed for 6 days. So sad to leave. Sandy looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Our spacious room opened onto a terrace overlooking a beautiful pool and garden area. A great breakfast. Staff were excellent always smiling, in a great leafy quiet residential area and only a 5 minute walk to many shops and restaurants. We will be back when we return to South Africa ”

“Great Location, out of the city, but not far from shopping center and local restaurants. 30 minutes away from Durban. Checking-in was easy, and the room was spacious, and the lady receiving us was helpful and guide us where to find food close by. Breakfast was good, and sufficient, service was very good. The only 2 things I would say were bad, is that the hot water run out quick, not enough for 2 people to take hot showers (unless you are quick), that was an issue now that is winter. The other...

“Äußerst außergewöhnliche Unterkunft. Lage toll. Design toll. Zimmer groß und toll eingerichtet. Das gesamte Gebäude ist leicht hellhörig. Sollten viele Gäste anwesende sein, könnte jemand mit leichtem Schlaf Probleme haben. Aber alles andere macht das mehr als wett. Man muss sich im klaren sein, dass das Hotel etwas außerhalb liegt und im Umkreis nicht viel los ist, außer Natur und Ruhe. Voll Empfehlung meinerseits. ”
