"We stayed four nights, Monday through Thursday. On the third night, October 7th, we returned from a long but lovely day of touring. We were tired and wanted to relax. Upon entering the room, the smell of smoke, either pot or cigarette, was overwhelming. It seemed to originate from the bathroom. We both ended up with irritated throats; the smell was so strong. The front desk "looked" into it and assured us it was something mechanical in the vents, not someone smoking in another room (like the room below). This seemed unlikely. They did offer us a new room, but by that time we were in our pyjamas, very unpacked and not wanting to switch. While we appreciate the offer, the smoke was a problem. It was cleared by the morning and we didn't smell it again. Very annoying."

"This is a nice hotel, clean and kept up to date. It's in a very convenient location. do not believe there is any sort of breakfast offered, however I was out the door by 6 am so cannot verify. The restaurant has one hell of a Chef - the food was simply outstanding. The restaurant looks like your typical hotel restaurant, but the food is anything but typical. 5/5 stars"

"This is a touchless B&B, meaning you will not see staff, but the communication and self entry instructions were fabulous. We had dinner on site, and staff were accommodating and fun! Breakfast is not what you would expect with traditional B&B. Consists of muffin, apple or orange, yogurt, juice, coffee or tea. Also cake minis, rice crispy squares and snack bars. Bottled water also provided. An improvement might be offering of protein (eggs) and a toaster for toast with whole wheat bread. Overall, we enjoyed the surroundings and the host was very flexible. I would recommend the 4th lock to any weary traveller. The sunset view from the balcony was amazing!"
