โGreat location within a short walk from the train station. Spacious clean suites. Friendly staff. Wonderful spot to explore Carlisle or to use as a base for exploring Hadrian's Wall. โ
โWould highly recommend the Cartref guest house. The room was cosy, clean and modern. Itโs like home from home the host (Melanie) was very personable and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and will cater to your needs. Overall and lovely and relaxing experience โ
โBasic affordable accomodation. A bit tired but everything worked - great shower, TV, tea & coffee, hairdryer. There's a table tennis room for guests too, but we were too tired to give it a go sadly. A 15 minute walk from town centre.โ

โCould not imagine a more wonderful stay. Hiking Hadrianโs wall and the Sally was a most wonderful stay. The food was incredible with great vegetarian and gluten free options. The rooms were large and comfortable with very comfortable beds, great water pressure, and all spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, all in a lovely little parish. I highly recommend staying at the Sally. โ
