"The chalet was amazing. We enjoyed being there so much. The heated tub, sauna and speaker made our stay enjoyable. We cooked a simple dinner and the kitchen had everything we needed. "Really comfortable and spacious. Fantastic area and was able to see the stars. The price was well worth it. The only difficult thing about the area is that everything closed a bit earlier than expected so finding food at around 9pm was difficult."

"Hotel was very nice. It doesn’t have AC - which I missed when booking but with windows open, it was pleasant at night (warm/uncomfortable during the day at end of June). Cash needed for their small shop which wasn’t unreasonable but we didn’t have any. Overall, I would recommend"

"Visit Grundslee and the stay at the Mondi Hotel if you are looking for a quiet, scenic, and romantic getaway. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Susanne at The front desk was particularly helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms at the hotel. Get a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the lake. You won’t regret it. Hotel rooms a clean and spacious, even for our party of 4. The breakfast was included and was very, very good. They also have a pretty good restaurant. Again with great views of the lake. On the downside, there isn’t very much for kids to do. There is a very, very small playground close to the lake but that’s about it. You can walk along the lake but the kids are over it in a couple of hours. The grounds could be challenging explore if you have mobility issues. Somewhat hilly. Grounds need a serious landscape redesign. Great for couples but I would spend more than one day with young kids."
