“This is such a beautiful location, and the home is well-maintained and decorated with care. When we arrived, four pairs of slippers were waiting for us, just as if we were staying in a traditional ryokan or machiya. We felt welcomed as invited guests. The guide covered most of the operational questions we would have had, and the pictorial on-site book answered most others. The ocean-facing patio also had outdoor slippers and while it was too cool to go in the ocean, the outdoor shower located...

“Very nice hotel. Wide and comfortable bed. Although the staff cannot speak English very well, they did their best. The public bath is great too, but need a code from the front desk to get to enter. One thing is that when you check in too late, there can be no parking space for taller cars like minivans. So be aware of that.”
