Walk to the great hiking canyon. A bit too far from town and beach but great for what it is in the mountains near great hiking.

Fint hotell vid vandringsled till Gorrupo.
Hotellet ligger beläget precis där vandringen från Silana går mot Su Gorrupo. Hotellet har rena fina rum och ett mycket fint läge i bergen och nära huvudväg till Silana. Ägarna av hotell är mycket tillmötesgående och hjälpsamma och bedriver också en mindre med mysig restaurang. Min dotter och jag åt en mycket god middag på kvällen och var trevligt att sitta ute vid terassen. Det enda vi saknade var air condition på rummet och det var mycket varmt på natten i rummet. Så vi öppnade fönstret och släppte in mycket behaglig kvällsluft och kunde höra djuren vandra ute i skogen, hundarna yla och se miljoner stjärnor på himlen med så lite ströljus i bergen. Men ute fanns mygg och fick ta kostnaden med några myggbett för att få en mycket behaglig temperatur att sova under natten. Hade varit perfekt om man tagit med en myggdödare och placerat i rummet. Det var en otroligt fin vandring från hotellet till Gorrupo, rekommenderas!

Vista di un paesaggio impressionanto
Soggiorno 4 giorni a metà ottobre 2017. La prenotatione su tripadvisor funzionava bene, accoglienza amichevole. Non c'erano molti ospiti, un giorno eravamo soli. Quello era abbastanza buono, perché la casa è un po mal insonorizzata.

Un buon hotel nel parco del Gennargentu
Tenete conto che è nel mezzo del nulla...solo parco intorno. Per noi era quello che cercavamo ma credo sia giusto esplicitarlo! Manca un frigo in camera ed è un pochino rumoroso ma, detto ciò, ci siamo trovati molto bene e abbiamo anche cenato benissimo!

Beautiful Hotel in the Mountains
Really nice hotel, friendly staff and good Broadcast. Really quiet at night. Only problem we had was the bad WiFi connection. It is only available in the Lobby. Nevertheless it is definately worth a visit. Good for a hike down into the canyon.

A good stopover
We had a one night stop whilst taking in the south of the island. The rooms were clean clear and comfortable. The shower was a good power and very pleasant. Would return next time we are in the area.

Das Hotel war Ausgangspunkt unserer Wanderung in die Schlucht. Die Lage ist toll und für Wanderer komfortabel, das Hotel eher einfach; das wird vom guten Service wettgemacht. Auch das Restaurant ist gut.

Très mauvais rapport qualité-prix.
Situation idéale pour les randonneurs mais chambre vétuste sans aucun intérêt. Chambre très mal insonorisée (on entend tout ce qui se passe dans les chambres environnantes et dans le couloir), pas de wifi dans la chambre et matelas très inconfortable. Service correct sans plus. Très mauvais rapport qualité-prix.

Sur le col, cet hôtel est l'unique établissement de la région. On se sent loin de tout, dans une nature belle et sauvage ! Les oiseaux piaillent, on entend les cloches des chèvres, et on savoure le moment. La cuisine est excellente !

Great stay at hotel Goruppu
Excellent. We only stopped for the night but very good. Had an evening meal with excellent food and a great self Service breakfast. Great.

Good for trekkers/cyclists
Grand location. The hotel caters mainly to walkers and cyclists. Helps if you have a car to travel to and from the hotel. Dinner was good with local specialities, breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate.

Wonderful ... away from the coastal crowds
Stayed one night on drive up east coast of Sardinia. Small detour from coast, but very much worth it. Wonderful location, lovely food and exceptionally nice staff. As for the views...spectacular.

Nice hotel run by really nice people
Nice hotel in at the start of the gorge hike. Run by really nice people. We wanted to start the hike early in the morning (7am), and the lovely lady who checked us in, and prepares breakfast, offered to prepare us breakfast early. The room is basic, but had an amazing view. Very peaceful, and lots of stars in the sky. Had a nice dinner at the restaurant - I tired goat stew, and finished with a nice cheese plate. We spent most our trip on the coast, which is amazing, but would spend a little more time inland next time.

Disappointed
Setting was striking and checking was warm and professional. The rest of the visit was poor in comparison. For the price, we felt like we were intruding in public spaces where we had to go to access sporadic wifi. No wifi would have been preferable to the frustrating sometime access available in the main lounge. We also feel that a hotel that promotes a superior stay should not commandeer lounge areas with staff and family along with a overly loud toddler throughout the day and evening. We would not stay again, given a choice of accommodations, however there are no alternatives in the area. Considering the reviews, frankly we expected more.

Fantastiska vyer
Vi valde detta hotell mer av en slump. Vi var mest ute efter sol och bad egentligen. Hotellets omgivning är fantastisk med dramatiska berg, getter som går runt och betar och vägar som slingrar sig längs bergssidor. Vill du ut och vandra är detta perfekt, men det är bara 30 min bilfärd ner till Cala Gonone och finfina stränder. Restaurangen serverar bra mat utan att vara fantastisk. Personalen var trevliga och serviceinriktade!

Bellissimo hotel in montgna a due passi dal canyon
Aiamo stati in questo hotel per ferragosto, volevamo un clima non troppo caldo e infatti si stava benissimo, colazione ottima e varia, nel ristorante si mangiava molto bene sopratutto le cose tipiche, consiglio il porchetto arrosto e i raviolini dolci fritti! Lo consiglio assolutamente

Ganska nytt hotell uppe i bergen. Restauranten medioker. Frukost som vanlig italiensk...kakor, vitt bröd. Finns både hund (Jago) och katter. Vackert område med vackra hikingleder. Svängiga vägar upp och ner. Fräscha rum och toaletter. Wifi finns i lobbyn. Hiss finns..

Good Location for sightseeing and activities
Ideal location for visiting Gorrupo, Supermonte and Oresio Beaches. Good clean hotel, meals excellent, staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Recommend as an ideal location to stop on travels.

Good place for hikers
The room is tidy and clean. It has all the equipment you need. The hotel staff is very kind and friendly. The breakfast was decent. It is a great place to stay, especially if you want to visit the Gorropu Canyon, as the walking path starts right at the hotel. The restaurant offers a variety of local Sardinian dishes. The taste is great, highly recommended. The wifi connection is poor, this is something they could improve.

Au coeur de la montagne
Bien situé pour randonner au coeur du Supramonte . Grande chambre propre et spacieuse avec jolie vue sur la montagne . L'accueil et l'extrême gentillesse de toute la famille qui s'occupe de l'hôtel , nous a beaucoup touché . Les repas du soir étaient tous excellents .Je recommande vivement cet hôtel où nous avons passer trois jours délicieux .

Dejligt hotel, men en helt fantastisk beliggenhed, højt oppe i bjergene. Værelserne på hotellet er rene og af god kvalitet. Fint restaurant med god mad og vin. Personalet er venlig og meget hjælpsom. Alt i alt en god oplevelse.

Havre de paix dans le Supramonte
Emplacement superbe, calme, apaisant et face au départ de la randonnée vers Gola Su Gorropu. Isolé au milieu du Supramonte... Personnel très accueillant, qui nous a donné de très bons conseils pour la randonnée, et préparé de très bon sandwichs sardes très bon marché. Diner à l'hôtel très abordable et bon (cuisine sarde).

Lage auf der Passhöhe
Die Lage des Hotels eignet sich perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderer. Der bekannte Strand von Cala Gonone befindet sich ebenfalls in Reichweite (ca. 2.5 h Fussmarsch). Empfehlenswert ist auch das Restaurant: Es wird einheimische Küche aus Produkten der Region angeboten!. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen :)

Een vriendelijk hotel.
Een vriendelijk hotel. Prettige medewerkers. De ambiance in de algemene ruimtes, m.n. het restaurant, zou iets meer aandacht kunnen krijgen. Het is er niet bepaald gezellig. Gezien de geïsoleerde ligging ben je in de avonduren wel afhankelijk van datgene wat er te bieden is. De internetverbinding is nogal pover.

Recommend this hotel to anyyone
Isolated in the mountains, but had every facility necessary for a stay. Front desk very friendly. Nice dinner and free breakfast. Beautiful surroundings in the hills, just gorgeous! Free parking a plus. Room just large enough bathroom good. In like kleenex in the room, almost never get it in Europe. No internet available.

Perfect for the mountains
The hotel is run by friendly, welcoming and helpful people. The room was lovely and with glorious views. It would benefit from a fridge in the very hot weather we enjoyed. The food was very Sardinian and related to the mountain location. Would recommend it to anyone.

An informal hotel in a stunning, quiet location
Ideally placed for hiking and touring the area. Very nice staff and a good quality hotel. Could do with a swimming pool. Very good value.

A very pleasant 3 nights-great trekking
The family run hotel was well kept, in a stunning mountain location, and both Simona and her sister were attentive and helpful. Our only lament was the rather stodgy fixed menu which got a little heavy going after 3 evenings on half board. We loved the fresh goats ricotta and home baked cakes at breakfast.

New hotel, lovely location, near the Gennargentu National Park and next to Gu Gorroppu Gorge
This hotel seems unknown at the moment, but I expect business to pick up for them as news gets around. It's like new, and very nicely done with loads of space and modern Italain styling. In house restaurant a bit pricy but good food and atmosphere which is just as well as there is little choice nearby. The roads are superb if you arrive by motorcycle. Park your bike safe in the knowledge it will be there in the morning. The approach to the building is steep and loose but not like gravel; I had no problems driving between parking space and main road. There is a garage that can take bikes if necessary. It's really quiet at night and opposite the entrance to the Su Gorroppu gorge which is a day trip on foot.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter
Wir waren die einzigsten Gaeste - Anfang Maerz. Draussen war sogar noch Schnee. Daher: unsere Buchung war vielleicht zu frueh. Aber das Hotel war sehr gemuetlich. Die Mitarbeiter - vermutlich der junge Chef - war sehr sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Raume sind einfach, aber mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Sicher eine sehr gute Basis um auf Wanderung zu gehen in dem traumhaften Gebiet. Das Hotel selbst liegt im Nirgendwo - etwa eine halbe Stunde Kurvenstrasse zum naechsten Dorf.
