La Posta in Ushuaia

I stayed here three nights as a solo traveler in May 2023. I loved the property - the apartment was very spacious and had great furniture. Staff was always very friendly and willing to help. I could also exchange currency and the rate that they gave me was much better than the rate I received at my other hotel in Buenos Aries. Highly recommend.

This is a cute apartment with a queen bed, a living room and a nice bathroom with bidet. Super clean and the owners were so friendly and helpful. It is across the street from the airport and a 5 minute taxi ride into town (probably a 20 minute walk). There is a small grocery store 1/2 a block away with a definite "locals" feel to it.

My stay was comfortable. Reception was helpful and kind. Sheets are sprayed with perfume so ask if you don't want it. Laundry was a bit expensive. Should be included. It was close to the airport and just outside the centre. A quite area.

The staff was amazing and the apartment well appointed and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The internet was good. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the noise. You could hear when neighbors climbed the stairs, opened their doors etc. If you are a heavy sleeper this won’t bother you. The front yard was filled with colorful flowers. Lovely property.

Accoglienza perfetta! Alla reception ci hanno aspettato nonostante fossimo in ritardo a causa del noleggio auto, grazie al fatto di essere stati contattati via whatsapp qualche giorno prima dell'arrivo per sapere il numero del volo e se ci fossero preferenze per la disposizione dei letti. Appartamento pulito e curato, forse eccessivamente riscaldato ma a quanto pare è una costante di tutti i locali di Ushuaia;è disponibile anche un servizio di lavanderia a pagamento su richiesta. La proprietaria Miriam ci ha inoltre consigliato negozi, take away, escursioni.. gentilissima!

予約段階ではバス・トイレ共用なのが分からずチェックイン時に判明して驚いたが、混みあって長時間待たなければならないということもなく問題なかった。次の目的地での予約にトラブルがあり電話を借りた（貸してくれたのは親切でありがたかった）のだが、その後の従業員の態度が非常に悪く残念だった。

Amazing!! I really loved my stay in Ushuaia, the staff at the hostel were so nice and helpful, the other travellers were awesome and there were multiple kitchens and a big common area for people to eat in. Breakfast was also very nice :) Thank you!!! Fantastico! Me encantó mi estado en Ushuaia, los trabajadores estuvieron muy amables y me ayudaron mucho. Los otros viajeros tambien estuvieron muy amables y habían dos cocinas y un area común donde las perdonas pudieron comer. El desayuno tambien fue rico. Muchas gracias 😊😊

Lugar incrível! Hostel ou apartamento individual. Ficamos. O apartamento. Enorme e super confortável. Talvez incômodo para quem tem problema com escada pois são no andar de cima do hostel. Café da manhã no hostel! Recomendo

Um bom Hostel para quem quer economizar, bom custo x benéfico. Local um pouco afastado do centro, precisa pegar um táxi para ir. Staff muito atencioso e educado, bom lugar para fazer amigos. Faz um pouco de barulho nos quartos.

Je voelt je hier echt thuis!

Heel gezellig hostel, eigenaren zijn zeer gastvrij. Zit dicht bij het vliegveld en ongeveer 20 minuten lopen naar het centrum. Erg rustig gelegen.

De 2 persoonskamer was basic met een gedeelde badkamer, maar met 2 keukens werd de drukte goed verspreid. Een nadeel was dat het een half uur lopen was naar het centrum in dit shabby stadje. Lukas geeft goede informatie en assistentie.

This is the perfect hostel. It’s about a 20 minute water front walk to downtown. Close to the airport. Quaint and comfortable. Would stay there again in a minute

Great for airport access but if you get a room by reception you will be awake all night with people using the kitchen even though they are not supposed to. Also needs carpets over noisy floorboards. Then will be a 5* stay.

Hostel is clean and the room is clean also. There are staff for cleaning even the common area like kitchen, i even see them swap the oven! Also there are two kitchen so less waiting time if there are many people cooking. However it is far from the city centre,it takes around 30mins to the city centre which should be consider when booking this hostel. But the price is good and the place is quiet.

Bon hostel, mais très mauvais service

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits dans une chambre double avec salle de bain partagée à la posta. La chambre était belle, propre et confortable, les espaces communs et notamment la cuisine et la salle à manger, grandes et agréables. Tout l'hostel est vraiment très propre, et très agréable. Malheureusement, la personne qui nous a accueilli à notre arrivée le premier soir (et qui était de service le soir suivant) a été désagréable avec nous et ne nous a pas du tout aidé. Comme la posta est excentrée par rapport à la ville (compter 30 bonnes minutes de marche), nous comptions obtenir au moins quelques informations sur ce que l'on pouvait faire à Ushuaïa. Réponse de la fille à l'accueil : allez à l'office du tourisme, c'est là-bas (c'est à dire à 40 minutes de marches et il était 20h30). Sympa l'accueil. En posant quelques questions précises, nous avons eu l'honeur d'avoir quelques réponses mais on nous a fait clairement comprendre qu'on dérangeait. Le comble a été qu'après ces quelques informations données à contrecoeur, cette même personne nous a demandé des conseils pour visiter Paris... Sans commentaire. Nous avons eu besoin de poser encore 2 ou 3 questions avec toujours l'impression de déranger cette même personne. En revanche la fille qui était là le matin était très sympathique. Dommage que nous n'ayons eu que peu affaire à elle... Dans les autres points négatifs, le Wi-fi fonctionnait vraiment très mal.
