“Clean and comfortable accommodation. Very pleasant staff. There were no facilities for breakfast at the accommodation or for making tea/coffee in the room. My main concern was the lack of ability to come and go without having to make contact with the property manager by phone, with the possible roblem that they were using their phone and consequently couldn't respond promptly.”

“Room was nice and clean (except for some high altitude spider webs 😝). Only criticisms were the pump / boiler / macerator / mechanical device that was ‘kicking in’ each hour or so for a couple of minutes (felt like we were on top of it) and Biffa collecting the glass recycling at 05:30 on a Bank Holiday Monday morning…😣”

“What a lovely find. We would not hesitate in staying here again. Everything we needed was provided and it was lovely to wake up and be able to have a cooked breakfast. Alton Towers was 2 miles away - a 10 minute drive - and it was the perfect location at the end of a busy day. I would not hesitate in recommending the Beehive to others.”

“Pretty solid B&B. Friendly and welcoming host. Clean and comfortable. Lovely location, just a shame it was in the middle of a storm so couldn’t appreciate the area. Was upgraded to a slightly bigger room. Only real downsides for me is there was no desk or chair to work at and was asked to check out half an hour earlier than the booking stated. I would return, but would also appreciate a veggie/vegan breakfast being offered. ”

“The place was quiet apart from a little bit of noise from the neighbours in the next house. Overall ok thanks to the other guest Michael who welcomed me and also showed me that there was a kitchen (microwave oven), which I could use. A bit more clean carpets some places and a few not so expensive improvements would give this place an extra star *”
