Ich wollte zwei Nächte bleiben und bin nach der ersten Nacht geflohen. Die Lage ist hervorragend, direkt am Franziskusweg, etwa zwei Kilomenter außerhalb der Stadt. Eine Idylle könnte man glauben. Aber am Pool gab es bereits einen Stand mit Getränken und sehr lauter Musik Zunächst gab man mir ein schreckliches Behindertenzimmer und dem jungen, unfreundlichen Wirt gefiel meine Reklamation nicht und wurde mauling. Ich bekam ein anderes Zimmer im Obergeschoss. Direkt unter meinem Fenster wurde gegen Abend ein Keyboard aufgebaut mit einem riesigen Lautsprecher und es wurde bis 23:00 enorm laute Musik gemacht, dazu Gesang von einem jungen Mädchen, das keinen richtigen Ton traf. Bis dann alles weggeräumt war, war es 24:00. Es haben dort vielleicht 40 Leute draußen gegessen und mit gegrölt. Das Dinner war nicht nur zu teuer, sondern unappetitlich, so dass ich es nicht gegessen habe. In dem Bett war schlafen nicht möglich. Es quietschte laut bei geringster Bewegung und man fühlte jede einzelne Feder der Matratze. Das Frühstück bestand aus 2 verpackten Zwieback, ein kleines Päckchen Marmelade und im Plastik Einwegbecher Kaffee oder Tee.

Posto veramente splendido ristrutturato davvero bene .. piscina e tutto a portata in mezzo alla Natura , la mi stanza molto spaziosa. Il titolare molto simpatico un personaggio .. colazione da favola .. selezione di salumi fatti da loro , crostata fatta in casa top .. peccato non aver fatto la cena

Una bella scoperta in Umbria

Molto simpatico il gestore e ottimo servizio, cucina genuina e piatti locali molto gustosi. Unica nota dolente (in tutti i sensi!) le reti a molle, per le nostre schiene non più giovanissime non è stato proprio il top del comfort.

un'oasi di pace e buon cibo

Decidiamo di partire all'ultimo minuto per due giorni nell'Umbria. Leggendo altre recensioni decidiamo di prenotare qui. Mai decisione fu più azzeccata. Un'oasi di pace dove staccare la spina e respirare aria fresca. Accolti con simpatia dal giovane Mattia e dal profumo invitante che veniva dalla cucina, decidiamo anche di cenare. Ottima cucina, dalla quale traspare la qualità delle materie e l'amore con cui vengono preparate;a colazione una coccola con la crostata alla marmellata, interamente preparata in casa, il tutto condito con la cordialità di tutto il personale, velocità nel servizio e pulizia della stanza. Sicuramente torneremo di nuovo in uno dei nostri prossimi viaggi alla scoperta dell'Umbria.

Bizarre experience - not recommended

Bizarre experience. Upon arrival around 6 pm we had to call host by phone to get into room/apartment as he was apparently unaware of our reservation. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment but dorm/hostel like furnishing. We paid 159 euro for half pension (dinner and bkfast) knowing we’d be remote. Way too expensive for what we got Fortunately dinner was tasty - New Years and seemed to attract a lot of neighbors which was charming. Breakfast was only coffee and small piece of pastry. Upon check out owner seemed confused on our prepayment status- perhaps new to using hotels.com. Would not recommend

A country side hotel, 20 minutes walking distance from Valfabbrica, on the pilgrim path towards Assisi. Very nice and helpful staff, the chef was very good at English and made wonderful sandwhiches for our next days walking. The manager was very wellcoming and helpful. The bed was very squeaky.
