"Knowing only a few words of Spanish was of no hindrance to our stay at this perfectly located hotel in Badajoz. For instance, the reception staff helped us order taxis and transitioned seamlessly between Spanish and fluent English, for which we were most grateful. Having said that, all the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, initiating polite salutations in both languages as they recognised our Spanish language limitations. "Very good location in the historic part of Badajoz. Easy walking distance of the citadel and the river. This hotel exceeded all expectations. One of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. And the breakfast was outstanding, as were the staff. A lovely hotel in an interesting city."
