"Good hotel, rooms a bit small and in need of a freshen up, but not to bad. Could have done with a fridge in the Duluxe A/C room that we stayed in. Great food, no upset stomach all the time we were there ( 10 Nights ) Close to the beach, around a two minute walk away, nice pool, always sun beds available to use.Staff were helpful and good fun, they made our stay at the Akhil Beach really nice. "De locatie op de punt van de zuidcliff is geweldig. Er is een zeer grote tuin met hangmatten en hangplekken. Het strand is makkelijk bereikbaar in nog geen vijf minuten via een makkelijke weg. Personeel is behulpzaam en het restaurant serveert een prima ontbijt en diner. Kamers zijn ruim en met een zitje en balkon. Ik vond het matras te hard.het is een flinke wandeling naar winkeltjes en restaurants, die allemaal in het noorden liggen."

"Hotel is very well located just in front of a very nice beach and at a walking distance of North Cliff where you will find a lot of shops and restaurants. Executive rooms are clean, spacious and well fitted with a superb view to the beach and incredible sunsets. Swimming pool is definitively a plus with a fantastic. Breakfast is average. However the Hotel suffers from a severe lack of maintenance everywhere (most chairs are broken at the swimming pool, paint is falling apart, ...). I would...

"Good hotel a bit away from the crowds but close enough to enjoy the beach and the action around. Nice hosts. If you don't expect luxury and don't need AC and a warm shower but are happy with a more natural way of live, that's your place."

"We had a lovely stay in one of the AC rooms, which had its own small seating area and was very private and peaceful. A haven from the busy Varkala. The gardens here are beautiful and well kept, the staff all sweet and attentive and helpful, available 24hr. The breakfast included at their restaurant nearby was also great. But it was quite loud at night due to neighbouring properties, but maybe due to being there in peak season! "
