Home sweet home, countryside in Sweden. Outside small town Falköping, about 120km east of gothenburg.

Really off the beaten path. But a lovely area to visit. Much to see here including lots of stone age graves, rune stones and things like that.

A beautiful day at home! A small village called Vartofta, in Västra Götaland, located in-between the two largest lakes of Sweden (just some 120km to the east of Gothenburg).

Besides a beautiful landscape - with trekking, hiking, cycling and skiing opportunities - you will find picturesque lakes and rivers, rune stones, churches, graves and other things dating all the way back to the stone age. It is an off-the-beaten-path area which is best seen during a road trip - with a car or perhaps even a bicycle.
