"The apartment is around 3KM from Sestriere so if you want to be in the bars for Apres Ski etc maybe not a great choice of location, however i had a car and chose to Ski in Montgenevre instead as better for beginners and its only 25 mins drive. There are restaurants where the apartment is located but you need to book especially in busy periods. The apartment is a bit dated and could do with modernising but its clean, very warm and fine for a week. "

"it was the worst experience I ever had booking with Hotels. It is not a place or management team that is worth of being on your platform. In the email of confirmation there was nothing said about the place not offering bed linen, towels or even TOILET PAPER..... indeed we arrived and had none of the above. The place does not allow to walk with ski boots but we didn't get access to the boots area to store our skies and boots... I was almost forgetting, broken shower indeed! Place was...

"My son and I stayed at Hotel Venue Lodge for a week of skiing during the Easter holidays. The hotel is conveniently located within Val d’Isere, with easy access to the slopes a short walk away. There’s plenty of dining options close by, with other amenities easily accessible. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with housekeeping maintaining it everyday. There’s a nice restaurant and bar, with live music on Friday nights. The staff are attentive and helped with all of our requirements. The hotel offers a luxury spa, including pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The ski shop is located inside the hotel is ideal and there’s plenty of space for ski and boot storage. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone considering a ski holiday in Val d’Isere"

"Customer service was outstanding. Reception staff were extremely helpful. Very relaxing pool. Very nice steam room and sauna. The spa staff were excellent and the treatments were first rate. The rooms were very comfortable and cosy. The boot room was spacious. The only slight criticism is that the lockers are not ventilated or heated. The breakfast was very good for a 3* hotel. We ate at the restaurant twice and both meals were excellent. The dining room/breakfast room is more like a cosy salon bar than a formal sit down dining room. The hotel is located in the heart of the village close to amenities and close to the ESF meeting point. We were very happy with our stay at this hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it. "

"This is an Italian family ski resort hotel, don’t expect anything luxury. The one positive thing was that the have our dog a very nice welcome bag with treats, dog bowl, poop bags, and a bed. That was very much appreciated, but from there the experience went downhill. First of all, even if you’re a guest you have to pay 25€ for the spa and book a time (no more than 45 minutes allowed). Then the restaurant is basically a cafeteria and the food at the buffet doesn’t stay hot… the à la carte menu has nice presentation but poor quality food. And finally, the room did not come with any water to drink nor anything in the mini bar etc. Very very basic, however that is what you can expect for the price. Staff was either young and arrogant or old and tired… they were nice though but almost none of them speak English. Would not recommend unless you want a cheap family friendly ski resort. "
