“This was my fourth stay at the Aqualuz. The hotel is perfect for me, and it is right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of the world to visit. I am there for work, so I have ideal access for where I need to be, in an extremely comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms and great facilities (including breakfast, the pool, and the bars/restaurants), and (the highlight) to have near-direct access to an incredibly beautiful beach. “Stayed for two days. Lizeta was an excellent host, very concerned about our comfort and very communicative. The apartment was in a great area, and was tastefully furnished & decorated. Excellent toiletries and refreshment. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to Lisbon. Liz and Garrick”

“I’m confident it will be better over time, but right now they have quite a bit to work on. Many drinking glass were not cleaned and spider web on some chairs. Despite >85% empty (my assumption) we got an apartment where we had to go up some stairs to reach it. No elevator and not possible to change. The reception is not very quick or helpful.
