A 10 minute walk away from the touristy downtown area; it’s a nice walk along the beach. And it’s far quieter. The room has three large windows facing the ocean. Gorgeous view and nice breeze. "Lovely hotel, very comfortable beds, great service and staff. Breakfast was great also. Great for visiting Messina, close to all attractions including the Duomo. Great theatre across from hotel with free concert and lovely restaurant up the side street next to the theatre. Great view from room, we were able to watch the arrival and departure of many ships including cruise ships and the boat trains."

"Excellent location next to the National Museum, RC Lido train station, Gelato Cesare, and the promenade. Only about 10 minute walk to the ferry port. Hotel had an excellent breakfast with many choices (muesli, fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, ham and cheese, pastries, and even granita with brioche, among other options. They also had an excellent dinner menu. Rooms were clean and comfortable (AC helpful). I would stay here again."

"This was quite a find! Lovely hotel, extremely well-kept and beautifully decorated. Front desk staff were very helpful. Room was quiet, despite being on the ground floor facing the road. Though it's a little outside of town centre, it was a quick and easy walk (took us less than 20 minutes walk to get to the port, would be a quick bus or taxi ride) and I appreciated the quiet area. I could write pages about the breakfast - it was fantastic. All fresh and tasty, with four areas of separate options. We vegetarians were spoilt for choice (and there were many meaty options as well). It was lovely to be able to make myself a blood orange mimosa to go along with my coffee each morning! I highly recommend Milazzo for a quiet holiday and I even more highly recommend Il Principe. I would absolutely stay here again!"
