Wonderful stay. Stay here if you are looking for classic Italian accommodations. Staff were so lovely and kind. Breakfast was wonderful. This was a charming older property and will be staying here again.

Lovely place! Very quiet as there are not many rooms. So little disturbance. The office is manned only part time. But you are free to come and go as you please and it is very close to everything within venice. They do not do evening meals, so you sre better off walking just 5 minutes away for good Italian food.

Traditional Venice hotel
Lovely hotel slightly outside the main tourist area of Venice but still only a short walk away. Room was spacious and very in keeping with city in terms of grandeur. Very helpful host who looked after our bags post checkout so we could keep exploring. Good self-service breakfast in the morning

Perfect location, lovely staff
Very friendly staff who gave great tips on restaurants and amazing sites off the main tourist path. Good location in a more residential area- about 10 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk to St Mark’s. The room was clean and comfortable with a view over some of the narrow Venice corridors. Nice light breakfast and able to leave bags at the desk in order to explore after check out.

The location was good, the room was adequate, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was ok. However, the a/c or lack there of was the issue for us. It was so hot it was unbearable. Manual confirmed the a/c was working, which made me wonder if it were that we are used to the American standards of a/c (cold)? In any event, Manual kindly brought us a fan which helped a bit.

Locked Ourselves Out! Hotel Staff Saved the Day.
We were kindly greeted by the staff upon our arrival. Our rooms were well appointed and quite clean. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of space. Around 10 PM my wife and I returned to our room to freshen up before going out on an evening stroll through Venice. We inadvertently left the key in the room and were locked out. We called the after hours number and a gentlemen arrived to let us back in our room within 5-10 minutes without fuss. He was so kind and we were grateful to be back in our lovely room!

Comfortable hotel in central location
Room was comfortable & had all basic facilities you’d expect. Basic breakfast with no hot food. Reception staff were very helpful but we found one of the kitchen staff quite rude & unhelpful. The location was central - not really close to most places you’d want to visit but 10-20 minutes walk from everything.

Central, quiet, low key
The quietest, friendliest and most central hotel you could ever hope for. Booked on a recommendation and turned out exactly as described. Would recommend without reservation. A six room only micro-hotel, but with loads of space (we had a triple) and the most helpful and friendly staff in the history of hotels. The room had double doors and two double-glazed windows for surely the quietest city centre hotel ever! Slept like a log. Great breakfast too and they looked after our bags all day on departure day. Thanks Manuel and colleagues.

Venice Visit
The classic finishes in this hotel surprised and impressed us. It is almost perfectly in the middle of the beautiful maze of a city making exploration rather easy. The reception service is friendly and available 24h. The breakfast was continental but very good and fresh.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area
This hotel only has 8 rooms. We had a relatively spacious room overlooking the street. No noise filters through from outside thanks to the double windows which was great. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. Only thing I would improve would be to put a kettle in the room. Breakfast was fine and there was plenty of it. Fresh croissants and a selection of meats and cereals. I would stay here again.

Great locale; fabulous staff; highly recommended
Fabulous staff, all of them. Gave us great advice about to how use water ferries, which walking tours to do, etc. Made nice breakfast coffees for us, and were attentive to all details and kind to our child. Rooms are modern, while the 19th Century charm of the building comes through. Location is fabulous - ten minutes from train station, 20 minutes from St. Marks, so just enough off the beaten track to not be loud or full of souvenir kiosks and lousy tourist restaurants, but still close to the action. Go around the corner and see the Frari Cathedral, btw! Highly recommended.

Nice hotel in fairly quiet area
Small hotel with good breakfast, excellent staff, about 12-15 min walk from the train station with suitcases. Venice is tricky to navigate, but the hotel has a nice big sign out front. Even though we were only there one night, they kindly offered to hold our bags for us all day. Easy walk to the Rialto and San Marco square. We Would stay again!

Quiet, charming hotel off the beat and path!
This is a very quaint and quiet hotel away from the main traffic of tourists in Venice. Its small and private, only 7 rooms total! Perfect! The rooms are tiny but very adequate. The bathroom was large and the water pressure is excellent. The restaurant next to the hotel is wonderful! And it is only a 10 minute walk to Rialto Bridge. Breakfast is small was satisfying. Overall this is a very pleasant hotel with a very charming staff. We will stay here again!!!

We had a lovely time staying here. The staff was friendly. The location was near a few restaurants and shops but away from the craziness near the Rialto and St. Mark's square. We enjoyed everything about our stay other than the very stiff beds and pillows. They were quite uncomfortable. Other than that, the staff saw to it to be friendly and helpful.

Good location in Venice.
The hotel is quite small with only seven rooms and is within walking distance to all the sights of Venice. The room was clean and efficient although not luxurious. The window opened into a small alleyway with no view but the A/C was quite welcome in the heat of August. The hotel is a good value considering that most of our time there was spent out in the city.

We had a great stay, but...
Both rooms looked great and the hotel was beautifully decorated; breakfast was lovely and the staff was attentive and happy to give budget friendly tips; bathrooms were thoroughly modern; staff was willing to hold our luggage for quite some time after check-out. All of these things would have made our trip entirely if we had been traveling by ourselves...however, we were with my retired parents. Like many places in Venice, there is no really good way to get there without walking. It is close to a canal, so I suppose one could take a very expensive water taxi to the nearest piazza. The hotel is at the top of steep flight of stairs with no elevator that we knew of, and these things would be a problem for those with mobility issues. Also, the air conditioning never got icy cold, which didn't bother us, but very much bothered my parents (in fact, they were extremely uncomfortable the entire stay because my dad thought it was way too warm in the room, even after the staff set the thermostat to what they said were optimal settings. Honestly, I was happy to sleep with the windows open, so this is entirely personal, and I definitely thought the AC was sufficient. Overall I thought it was a great stay and a good central location from which to explore a lot of the city.

A Gem Off the Beaten Path
This place is a gem. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was huge, clean, and air conditioned (something NOT to take for granted in Venice). The only drawback is the location. It is not near the public transportation (boats) of Venice. If you have tons of luggage, a stroller, or mobility issues, it is a nightmare walking across town & bridges to get here. We splurged on a water taxi (60 euros for a 4-minute ride... nice work if you can get it) that dropped us off meters away from the hotel. We also hired a porter to cart our luggage away when it was time to take the bus back to the airport. I would suck up the extra cost of the above transportation to stay here again in a heartbeat. The restaurants nearby were good, too.

Two couples stayed four nights. All staff were very friendly and very helpful. They made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spotlessly clean, we cannot fault the cleanlines of our rooms. We had clean towels every day. The only comment I have is the hairdryer in the bathroom not powerful enough. Breakfast was continental. Hotel in a great location for restaurants, little back Street bars and the main attractions in Venice. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
