The air conditioning was broken the first night and the room was unbearably hot. The air quality was poor, so sleeping with the window open helped, but created another problem because we could not breathe comfortably. The evening person on staff, Francesco, was completely unaccommodating. When we asked for a fan, he said he was hot too and he only had one fan. The day manager (Marco) provided assistance to make it right, but it required effort and multiple conversations for it to be done correctly. They did not communicate effectively and we had to repeat multiple times that our breakfast was complimentary and we were able to access the sauna and terrace. We chose this hotel for convenience to/from the airport, but it was a horrible way to spend my anniversary. The only “4 star” thing about this hotel is the lobby. The rooms are worn and had rust, dry rotted wood door frames and dated showers and overall design. Do not recommend.
