Beautiful decor and a convenient location, but ultimately not the comfortable luxury stay the reviews and photos led me to expect. The hotel is about a 7 minute walk from the Rialto vaporetto stop, which made getting around Venice very easy. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated in a classic Venetian style, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything spotless throughout our stay. That said, the room photos felt quite misleading compared to reality. I understand Venice hotels are smaller, but this room was exceptionally cramped — there was barely enough space to walk around the bed, and even one suitcase blocked the walkway. The bathroom and shower were also extremely small. Several amenities expected from a “Luxury” property were missing, including a kettle, iron/steamer, and a functional-sized safe. The soundproofing was by far the worst part of the stay. We could clearly hear conversations and other private activities from neighboring rooms late into the night as though they were happening inside our own room. Breakfast delivery was a creative concept, but the quality was disappointing. The eggs had a strong sulfur smell, the bread was extremely hard, and the cappuccino arrived lukewarm. Overall, this hotel may work for travelers prioritizing location and aesthetic over comfort and space, but for us it did not live up to the glowing reviews or “Luxury” classification online.

The accommodations are well kept and in a quiet neighborhood. Was located fairly close to the San Salvestro Vaporetto stop. Breakfast was abundant and served on time to your room. Had a common sitting room outside our room which was great as we were travelling with another couple. As the rooms are small we opted not to get daily cleaning/bed making service.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and would definitely recommend. Do yourself a favor and make sure to complete the check-in instructions before you arrive. Especially if you don't have international calling or data. Otherwise the staff was very nice, the breakfast was very good, and it's in a great area.
