Such a beautiful place. An impromptu getaway was simply perfect thanks to Bernadette and Swan Lake House staff. Beautiful view, service and facilities. Catered to my fussy diet even with less than 1hours notice of our booking. Thank you so much!

A personal touch
This is a very warm and homely, B&B type experience. The hosts are very experienced and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The bedroom is designed to be fairly basic but comfortable sleeping space, however the large and inviting lounge area is very much part of their hospitality that guests are encouraged to use. The views and grounds are a real highlight of the property. This would suit people looking for a personal, B&B experience hosted by owner/occupiers. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great for visiting Penguin Parade
A great place to stay for a trip to Phillip Island. Swan Lake Guest House is walking distance to the Penguin Parade and a short drive to a lot of the other landmarks. We were warmly welcomed and our room was comfortable. Watching the wallabies from our balcony in the evening was a nice extra.

This is a beautiful house with multiple rooms. Owner is lovely. Very friendly. Penguins are a 1km walk, very close to nobbies lookout (water hole) Red Rock beach (Free BBQs), Smith's beach, go karts at the GP track. amaze'n'things, seal rock by boat the the jetty $85 cheaper for RACV member, pensioner discount and children. Take a trip to the chocolate factory in the way to Cowes Be sure to leave early as busy times roads are crazy.

Lovely host, spotlessly clean, beautiful breakfast, beautiful views. No kettle in the room was frustrating, no toilet roll holder odd but not a problem. Bernadette a delightful host.

話し好きのオーナーが親切にもてなしてくれて思い出深い旅行となった。フィリップ島のみならず、メルボルンの様々なおすすめスポットを教えてくれた。施設はきれいで、ジェットバスがあったのは日本人には嬉しかった。

Walking distance to penguin parade
Visiting Phillip Island to watch the Penguin parade. Location is within walking distance to attraction. Beautiful views. This is a guest house not a hotel. Individual rooms with their own bathrooms. The family lives in a house adjacent to the guest house. Friendly service. Restaurants and town are a few miles away on two lane country roads. The bedroom we had was large with its own sliding glass door to outside. There was outside sitting area. The lobby is on 2nd floor with beautiful views of the bay. The breakfast provided was good. Toast, cheese, warm croissants, condiments, fresh fruit (watermelon & grapes) coffee and juice served with a smile and friendly conversation. We visited in autumn, the off season. The room we were in could use an additional chair and table inside. We could hear the guest in the room above us moving around. The gate to the guest house is next to swan lake. The gate opened at 3. You drive a gravel driveway and park on grass in front of house. Overall a Plesant stay.

Ideally located for the Penguin Parade
Super friendly host, located so close to the penguins. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom and wraparound balcony. Breakfast was inuded which was great. Swan Lake Nature Reserve is right next door and worth a quick look after breakfast, to see the birds.

Beautiful location, perfect accommodation for penguin viewing. Bernadette was a caring, thoughtful host. Close to natural highlights of Phillip Island and only ten minutes from local town and restaurants. Highly recommended!!

The property is immaculately clean. It bothered me that there was no toilet roll holders in the bathroom. i am not sure why this was the case. the owner is most welcoming but sometimes a bit over the top friendly. You can feel like an intruder not a guest on occasions. I wanted to watch the footy on Saturday night and I turned it on in the guest room and turned off the music that was playing. I went to my room only for 20sec to return to find the tv off and the music back on. ???????

Near the swan lake, and can see wallabies and water birds easily. Tidy, clean and quite room with beautiful view. The hosts are nice and helpful.

Établissement idéalement situé tout près de la parade des pingouins. Le bâtiment est tout neuf et très confortable. Grande chambre, sdb avec jacuzzi, frigidaire dans la chambre, excellente literie. L'hôtesse, Bernadette, nous a reçu comme des amis des 15h. Elle est un peu bavarde mais charmante. Notre chambre était située sur un angle avec vue panoramique sur la plaine et la mer au fond des 2 côtés. A la tombée de la nuit nous avons vus nos premiers wallabies "petis kangourous" devant nos fenêtres. Magnifique ! Petit déjeuner dans une immense salle très agréable toute vitrée : très bien, il manquait peut être des oeufs. Bernadette nous a conseillé plusieurs restaurants pour le soir à Cowes. Nous avons suivi ses conseils et avons dîne chez Pino's une pizzeria très correcte. En conclusion, nous recommandons cet établissement à tous nos amis et aux autres ! Rapport qualité prix parfait.
