“Sehr gemütliches Zimmer, schöner Innenhof, in dem wir gefrühstückt haben und wo wir abends gemütlich sitzen konnten. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber (mit freundlichem Hund und neugieriger Katze). Das Frühstück war vielseitig und sehr hochwertig. Von der Unterkunft ist man in wenigen Minuten am Meer (Strand oder Dünen). Parken kann man in der Nähe der Unterkunft.”

“Einfache, saubere Unterkunft 10 Minuten Autofahrt von Bayeux und 15 Minuten von den D-Day-Stränden. Küche zur Mitbenutzung, kein Fernsehen auf dem Zimmer.”

“We had a nice stay at this location, though AC is not typical for most lodging in the area. Because there was no AC, we had to leave the windows open, which let quite a few small flies into our room. However, we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast prepared by the owners.”

“The proprietor was was very friendly and the place was amazing with all of the WWII artifacts and material. The place is from around 1850 and filled with charm. This is an immersive experience into the Normandy coast, not a cookie cutter chain hotel. Highly recommend!”

“Of all the places we stayed on our three-week trip, Le Doux Refuge was by far our favourite. Christine and Christoph made us feel at home from the very start, and they treated my father like he was the most important person in the world.
