“The owner of this lovely small hotel - really like a bed & breakfast - was waiting outside on her sidewalk bench when we pulled up. Beautiful quiet village in the gorgeous North France mountains, bicyclists and hikers everywhere, fresh food and delicious local bubbly wine (remember don't call it "champagne" if it's not from the Champagne region!). Very friendly. As traditional in France, they are very proud of their French language and don't particularly try to excel in "speaking English" but...

“Great stay as always, whilst some of the rooms are a little dated, they are spotlessly clean with always plenty of hot water and more than adequate heating. Staff excellent, and spa area is nice to have after a day skiing. ”
