"I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could! I arrived early evening for my 1 night stay- I had booked a king suite, which I had stayed in before and enjoyed it. I was greeted by a friendly staff member who checked me in. To my delight and surprise, I was upgraded to the PENTHOUSE suite! I couldn't believe it! The elevator went directly into my suite - I mean can you say posh or what?! The room was spacious and spotless, with soaring ceilings, a nice kitchen, a huge bathroom with a walk in shower, separate tub, separate toilet, and its own large king bedroom. You could head down the stairs directly to the hot tub. I even got a welcome bottle of wine! How fantastic! I can not express how grateful I was to have this upgrade of all upgrades - the Kelowna hotel I had stayed in the weekend before was a total disaster, with extra loud guests, a room that smelled like pee, stale sheets, and several things that were broken in the room. And this is a well known chain hotel where I normally have an excellent stay. I will always recommend The Castle at Swan lake to anyone - you get treated like royalty. "Enjoyed our stay here! It was super relaxing. The only thing though was we found a mouse in our room the last day and maybe because we had take out in our room. This was bothersome but thankfully on our way to checking out. The complimentary breakfast was so good! Some of the staff were not friendly and seemed rushed with poor customer service skills but that’s more of a comfort thing for us. The beds were really uncomfortable and beautiful views from our room! We loved the tub near the window — it was so relaxing. They also provided us with complimentary bath salt which was a nice surprise. The amenities were great! The spa areas were so good — best spa I have been to. Not a lot of restaurants nearby so the food in the restaurant in the building was expensive and one down the hill from us at the other hotel. Only two walkable restaurants — otherwise have to drive into town (more of a preference thing). Lovely walk around with nice views and nature. Would recommend staying here! "
