Very gracious hosts and the breakfast was wonderful. The conversation was even better. The room was lit or staying in a Mississippi history book. We loved it and had a great experience. We were in town for my family reunion and didn’t want to stay in the chain motel my family blocked off rooms at. I highly recommend it also because it close to all the best restaurants and venues.
Great location to visit the Mardi Gras parade! We also enjoyed the breakfast and home tour - Macy was pretty cool too and we look forward to coming back! The Galleries I was clean and spacious for our party of 4 too!
The Corners Mansion is our "Go To" Property, in Vicksburg.
The hospitality combined with the historical ambiance of the Inn are everything we look for in a BNB, and more. Be sure to take advantage of the house tour, which combines the history of the Mansion along with many interesting facts about Vicksburg and the Civil War Era. Our biggest hint though, is do not miss Breakfast!
The hostess Macy is terrific. She prepared very nice breakfasts each day. She also provided a good tour of the Inn and made sightseeing recommendations.

Breakfast was great. The staff were wonderful. Property is not in good shape. If you cannot climb stairs or walk on uneven surfaces you should not stay here.
Hostess & owner Macy was so congenial and accommodating. She changed rooms for us as we all are "older" and did not want to try to maneuver the stairs to upper rooms. The breakfast was so delightful, the table setting was so lovely! We enjoyed our view of the river from the chairs and front porch swings. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if we're in the area.
The Corners Mansion Inn is an amazing property with great atmosphere and furnishings depicting the era. The hospitality that Macy and Joe provide is warm, welcoming and inviting. The candlelight breakfast is delicious and don't ,if at all possible, don't miss the tour of the house following breakfast. It is very informative not only about the history of the mansion but covers many key points about the Siege of Vicksburg during the civil war. Our stay was short, but we will be back.
Beautiful old home with all the old furnishings and decor- lots to look at and feel like you have stepped into another time. The room was very comfortable. Macy gave great recommendations for dinner and we had an excellent meal. The neighborhood is transitional. We didn’t have any issues, but it made a walk from the hotel less appealing.
Beware if you are booking this property. Lots of stairs. Ask about access to your room. My 77 year old wife and I had to laboriously trudge our way up THREE step stories of stairs. All while trying to lug a small suit case. No one at the facility even offers to assist. Will not book again.
The property is a historic building along the Mississippi shore. Macey is a fantastic hostess, eager to elaborate on the history of the house and Vicksburg in general. This was a very special stay
Relaxing, beautiful home overlooking the Mississippi. Host very attentive and a fantastic cook. Enjoyable conversation sharing experiences and commonalities. Well worth a stop in Vicksburg.
