“Never checked in because I didn’t read the fine print that nobody under 21 could stay here. I was traveling with two 19 year olds. It should really have that info somewhere other than opening another page to read the fine print. Made even a box you have to check before you checkout. The area was pretty run down, so maybe it was for the best we didn’t stay here anyways. Can’t speak on what the inside of the hotel looked like since I never went in.”

“If you’re looking for a real historical place to stay, this is it. Very well maintained..bathrooms in our building, Halpino, was excellent..all redone. Bed very comfortable, floors creeked but very old building. Breakfast was at another building you could walk too. Was excellent and fancy. Was in a further area from historic downtown but easy drive. Historic it is perfect for Vicksburg.”

“The price seemed good until we walked in our room. Surely being a brand name casino, BALLYS, they would ensure their hotel bearing their name would be nice...nice enough even for a small Mississippi casino. It was bad. It looks like they bought an old motel that just happened to be connected to a casino. I was surprised there weren't hourly rates. It appeared Ballys/Hilton tried to update it with newer looking carpet but it didnt take away from the complete lack of upgrades anywhere else. ...

“Room was very clean but had a funny smell. Parking was easy and location was great to walk downtown. Pool area was locked so we didn’t explore it. There’s plenty of green space outside hotel for dogs and quiet walking streets. Guests ring a bell for staff and they are very friendly.”

“The room was excellent, extremely clean and comfortable. Staff was good. The grounds were in somewhat of disrepair but it looked as if they were in the process of making repairs. It had what I needed for a good night sleep which was all that I wanted at the time.”
