I like the Vic for the following reasons:
- The building is a bit dated, but the recent renovation made it a comfortable stay (new bathrooms, rainfall shower with good water pressure, quiet fan in the bathroom, bright lobby, new lighting fixtures)
- It's tucked away on a quiet street that feel safe and quiet
- The room that we stayed in was quiet, even thought it was close to the elevator
- The staffs were friendly, professional, and helpful
- They have a multi screen TV in the amenity room that comes with a table tennis table, a foosball table, a popcorn machine, and board games. I saw guests gather there for hockey games and fun every so often. That gave the hotel a vibrant vibe.
The only minor inconvenience is its location. Depends on where you need to go, you may need to drive through the surrounding residential area for 5-8 min before you hit the main roads. But given the traffic, the smaller road may be quicker at times.
Overall, it was a pleasure and comfortable stay and I would stay there again.
