At Hønsinge Lyng you will find this 160 m2 large cottage for 10 people with whirlpool and sauna. The cottage is particularly suitable for wheelchair users and meets the accessibility requirements for people with reduced mobility. From the tiled driveway you enter level-free directly to the covered entrance and level-free into a 2 meter wide entrance hall with a good, easily accessible wardrobe. From the entrance hall and distribution corridor there is access to the six bedrooms. There are two single rooms and a double room with nursing beds as well as a double room with regular beds. Furthermore, there are two children / helper rooms with bunk beds and a loft with 2 mattresses. The wardrobes are open and very easily accessible. The bathroom is very large and decorated according to the requirements of the Danish Handicap Association. The washbasin can be reached sitting from the toilet, which is extra high and where, of course, armrests are located. There is free space under the sink, which is recessed so that it fits in height for wheelchair users. The spa bath is mounted so that the mobile lift can be driven under the bath, so that the disabled person no longer only needs to look at the bath, but can get the experience of the sparkling water. There is a bath chair and pelvic chair. In the bathroom, the washing machine is located so high that the inlet hole is 70 cm high. A dryer is located above. From the bathroom there is access to the sauna, where you can get the heat back in the body on a cold winter day. On the other side of the hallway is another bathroom, which is also equipped for the disabled and which has an extra wide shower, so there is the prescribed space for any helper. All doors to rooms are 90 cm wide, and for the care rooms the doors are provided with pull handles throughout the width of the door. There are no doorsteps in the house. The kitchen is large and open, so it is very easy to get around between the hob, sink and cabinets. Kitchen sink and hobs are recessed, with plenty of legroom and footrests underneath.
