This is a great place to stay close to Vik, The morning sunrise can be phenomenal from the parking lot. Very close to the endless black beach and other attractions. Have a nice restaurant. I recommend this lodging.
The overall experience was good, the room pretty spacious, the buffet was as other hotels in Iceland, basic but fulfilling, one thing that we loved was the view from the dinning room and the parking lot, the only thing you have to consider is that the hotel is not in Vik, it's like a 5-10 minute drive from the town.
Superior double room was quite spacious. Staffs are very nice. We stuck due to adverse weather which is usual in Iceland. They helped us with all the information, helped us in extending the stay. Rooms and bathrooms are really clean. Breakfast is quite good.
A very large property that overlooks the southern coast. Stunning views of the coast and of Dryholaey. Plenty of parking available. We stayed here two different times over the course of our trip. Check in was smooth both times! The staff were excellent in providing us info regarding wifi, breakfast times, etc. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast here was excellent, probably the best spread of items I've ever seen. Fruits, breads, deli meats, cheeses, veggies, and much more to name! I'd recommend this place to all my friends and family.
We stayed in a new wing. It was really quite noisy, doors banging etc. The breakfast was really only so-so. Staff were great. We would not stay there again.
The check-in went smoothly and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and the location was great for our needs. Recommend this hotel if in the area.
The staff was friendly and room was comfortable for our 2 night stay. While there was construction happening during our stay it only impacted driving in and out of the property.
A pleasant place to stay. Not fancy, but spotlessly clean, comfortable with very good food.

A superb location and a clean and tidy place.
The rooms we had seemed fairly newly refurbished which were comfortable.
Be warned it is a places intended for high volumes of guests like coach parties. We opted not to have the buffet dinner which when we returned and saw it was a good choice Vik is only 15 min drive away. Breakfast was a good spread but the cooked food was cold and the dining area reminded me of being back at school.
Overall a comfortable place for one night in a lovely location. Friendly staff but we were not their typical target audience.
A beautiful and convenient final stop before heading back toward Reykjavík. This was one of the larger hotels we stayed in, but it still felt clean, welcoming, and well-managed.
The front desk staff were kind and accommodating, offering coffee/tea while we waited and checking on our room status.
Our room was clean and comfortable with spectacular views of the mountains and ocean. While slightly more dated (particularly the carpeting), it was still a pleasant stay overall.
This was the night we finally experienced the Aurora Borealis—an unforgettable ending to the trip. While faint to the naked eye, they appeared beautifully through phone photos, and we could still see wispy, ribbon-like formations in the sky.The hotel is also well-located—about 2.5 hours from Reykjavík and close to Vik. We explored the town, dined at The Soup Company, and my family enjoyed the Icelandic Lava Show, which they said was incredibly informative.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety and unbeatable views. A scenic, relaxing, and fitting end to an incredible trip.
