“A delightful hotel in a quieter part of town. Room was lovely overlooking the river and was so peaceful and quiet (bar the seagulls). Breakfast was filling - worth getting. Was a quick walk into the centre of Waterford so a great place to base yourself for touring the city and seeing the main sights.”

“This is a wonderful B&B, with amazing views. Our room was spacious and comfortable; Des and Susan were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Great choices for breakfast, freshly cooked Irish breakfast and lovely porridge too. Plenty of local fresh fruit and honey. Good location for Waterford. Would highly recommend Samuels Heritage B&B.”

“It was good for the price. But to check in you have to call a number and wait. It doesn’t tell you that and the number is on the door so you can’t call early. Simeon from another location comes to let you in. Breakfast is do it yourself continental, not amazing. We are at The Pantry just a few places down, amazing. The lady that checked us in was nice. Room was small but worked. Bed slanted towards head so needed up sleeping opposite direction.”

“Clean and comfortable! Parking was very hectic! We ended up parking in the large parking lot 2 blocks away because we couldn't get to the hotel lot ( too much traffic)”

“Room had AC which is rare for Ireland, glad we had it during July heatwave. There is a small lift, elevator, to easily get luggage upstairs to the rooms. The attached restaurant pub on the first floor has lots of character; it being a former monastery, 300 yrs old. Food was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Setting was quiet. Plenty of parking in large parking lot next to building. We would enjoy staying here again.”

“Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. “Had I known that the room and where we needed to register were in two separate locations (10 minute walk in the rain) I would not have booked this place. Parking was said to be easily accessible on the street was not true at the time. Other than that, the room was acceptable.”

“A absolutely beautiful place to stay. The house, room and everything is impeccable as pictured. Edna was our host and he is the greatest person. Breakfast was amazing as well. Definitely a great place spend some quality time.”
