"This incredibly beautiful hotel has Douro Valley views from the balcony. I just loved it. The grounds are lovely. It sits on the Douro River, with a short stroll to a great collection of nearby restaurants. The daily breakfast was a delight with a large selection of quality items. My only annoyance was the bathroom mirror. It's limited to a single small circular magnifying mirror. I could use the large desk mirror, though, which gave me additional views of the Douro River. We'll be back!"

"Ultra modern hotel . Terrific staff who was everywhere to make our stay more enjoyable including preparing a fabulous breakfast early to meet our schedule They arranged transfer from Pocinho to the hotel, then the coa museum and back to Pocinho. Our taxi driver-Roy-was always on time and very helpful. Taxi company was Jorge …."

"Loved the location of this hotel up in the hills above Pinhao. Wonderful views from our balcony down over the terraced vineyards to the Douro river below. Incredibly quiet and peaceful spot. Also liked the hotel bar. There’s not much going on in Pinhao at night, but the LBV bar has a nice gathering of guests from all over and a good menu of salads, drinks and other light fare. Rooms are small as with just about all new boutique hotels these days, but very clean snd nice."

"Such a beautiful and quiet place! The staff were wonderful and helpful. Supper was delicious local specialties. Breakfast was great with custom eggs and lots of selection. Their wine is excellent! We would totally recommend staying at this small, family run Quinta."
