โWe sat in the dining room talking and drinking (what I considered to be a really good) complimentary Porto until after midnight. The building itself is straight out of another era with thick walls of rock but still with all the amenities you would want. This was the best stay Iโve had in Portugal so far. โ
โGreat location in the walled city. Check in with code and lockbox worked well. Room (no. 2) - up one set of narrow stairs - was small, but clean with a nice view of the town and castle wall. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom - everything worked well. Breakfast was okay - there are better options close by in town.
It was a fun stay in an authentic building in the walled city. We would stay here again.โ
โGood host located in peaceful locale in country. Could offer mattress topper to make beds more comfortable.
Nice breakfast in cozy setting around dining table with friendly staff.โ
โGood location near to the pretty town Obidos, nice well kept property and a feeling of calmness. Good cold breakfast pre-ordered and laid out at a specified time.
Unfortunately our arrival was on the day of the massive power outage that affected most of Europe, so normal dining facilities in the area were not available.โ
โObidos was quite city and the hotel was also in good location and in quite place even it was in the middle of the town. The only thing was that air circulation of washroom was not so good. It was only for one night stay. Besides the toilet codition, everything was good.โ
โThe hotel check in and check out, and the staff were great. The rooms are absolutely amazing and unique. Breakfast included was really good. There is no parking, but free parking roughly 3 streets away near the park. I highly recommend this hotel โ
โWonderful experience staying in an 457 year old property. We woke up to the sounds of peacocks and sheep. Excellent value. Our host was wonderful.โ
